LEO
TRANSITION has been working closely with Project LEO (Local Energy Oxfordshire), a socio-technical innovation project which aims to demonstrate that a functioning Smart Local Energy System (SLES) in Oxfordshire can maximise economic, environmental, and social prosperity in the area whilst focusing on improving customer engagement in flexibility markets.
The two projects are conducting joint trials to maximise outputs and learnings.
This cross sector collaborative project is building a broad range of reliable evidence of the technological, market and social conditions needed for a greener, more flexible and fair electricity system. It is also learning what changes need to happen within national and local policy to enable this to happen.
